This handbook, created by Childcare Works in collaboration with Dingley's Promise, details actions for local authorities and is designed to support local authorities' work to ensure:
- Better sufficiency of places for children with SEND
- More successful transitions to school
- More confidence among families who experience effective early identification and support
- Improved experiences for children.
Dingley’s Promise is the largest specialist provider of nursery education to children under 5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in England.
