This online session, delivered in conjunction with Bristol LA, will provide local authorities with an overview on how to create early years career pathways within their organisations, and the benefits this can have for recruitment, retention, and training programmes. Whilst the focus is on Early Years, Wraparound Leads may also find it useful to attend.

The aims of the session are to:

  1. Develop the confidence to commence creating your own recruitment, retention, and training programme toolkit
  2. Understand how building partnerships and networks outside the Early Years team can benefit recruitment, retention, and training programme(s)
  3. Understand how to innovate an inclusive career pathway
  4. Identify how value and recognition play a pivotal role in retention strategies
